Candoora Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Candoora. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by a legally binding contract between you and Candoora Ltd.
1. The Service
Candoora is an AI-powered career intelligence platform providing job matching, resume analysis, interview preparation, Insider Intel briefings, referral architecture tools, and Career OS features including Growth Tracker, Career Intelligence, Certificate Vault, Pivot Support, and Auto Resume Generation where available.
Not an employment agency
Candoora does not introduce users to employers, place users in employment, or receive employer placement fees. Employment decisions remain entirely with users and prospective employers.
No outcome guarantee
Candoora provides tools and analysis to improve job-search effectiveness, but does not guarantee employment, interviews, callbacks, salary outcomes, or specific career results.
2. Eligibility

- • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
3. User Content and Third-Party Personal Data
You retain full ownership of content you upload, including CV and career data. You grant Candoora a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process that content solely to provide the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
No AI training on your content
Candoora will not use identifiable content, including resumes, career data, or practice answers, to train any AI model without separate, explicit consent describing the training purpose.
If you submit third-party personal data, such as contact names or roles in Referral Architect, you warrant that you have a lawful basis to submit it and will not use Candoora to spam, harass, or contact individuals without a genuine professional basis.

5. AI-Generated Content
Advisory only
Fit Scores, analysis reports, bullet suggestions, interview questions, and referral drafts are recommendations. They have no automatic effect.
Accuracy not guaranteed
AI analysis depends on the information provided and publicly available data. Outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete.
Clear labelling
AI-generated content is labelled in the interface.
Accept, edit, or reject
Bullet rewrites and AI recommendations require explicit user action. Nothing is auto-applied.
Referral drafts
Referral messages are drafts only. Users must review every message before sending.
User responsibility
Every application, message, and career decision remains the user’s responsibility.
6. Intellectual Property
Candoora’s software, algorithms, scoring models, brand, and interface are the exclusive property of Candoora Ltd. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the platform. Your own content remains yours.

- • Payments are processed by Stripe. Candoora does not store card details.
- • Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled from Account Settings.
- • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Monthly plans do not receive partial refunds for unused time.
- • Annual plans include a 14-day full refund window from the payment date. After 14 days, no refund is provided, though prorated downgrade to monthly is available.
- • Price changes are communicated with 30 days’ notice, and existing subscribers are protected until their next renewal.
- • The free tier requires no credit card and continues indefinitely subject to compliance with these Terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Candoora is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; loss of employment, career opportunity, income, or reputation; inaccuracies in AI-generated outputs; or actions of referral recipients. Candoora’s maximum aggregate liability is limited to fees paid in the 12 months before the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
9. US State-Specific Provisions
California users have rights detailed in the Privacy Policy. Candoora does not sell or share personal data, offers no financial incentives for data, and honours Global Privacy Control signals. Candoora applies Illinois AI Employment Law non-discrimination standards globally and does not process biometric data in the current platform.
10. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, subject to statutory consumer rights in your country of residence. EU residents may refer disputes to a national consumer dispute resolution body, US consumers retain small-claims rights where applicable, and Australian Consumer Law rights are unaffected.
11. Termination and Changes
You may delete your account at any time. Candoora may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms, engage in fraud, or remain dormant for more than 24 consecutive months after 30 days’ prior email notice and an opportunity to reactivate.
Material changes to these Terms will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance. You may terminate your account without penalty if you do not accept a material change.
